Physical Traits
The Narwhals have many unique physical traits. They are 13-20 feet long, and weigh about 3,500 pounds (1.8 tons), and they have only two teeth. With the males, the most prominent tooth grows to be a sword like, spiral tusk that is up to 8.8 feet (2.7 meter) long. The tusk grows right up through the narwhals lip. They have black and white mottles skin pattern on the top side, and have a white belly. They are a similar shape to a Beluga or White Whale, but they have less blubber and fat. The narwhals neck is less flexible than most necks, and the males are slightly bigger than the females.
